1 Year On – BizTalk Memes

When I started blogging a year ago I had no idea how much it would help me progress my own learning, and how rewarding a hobby I was going to gain.  If not for the feedback and interest in my blog posts I might not have been quite so motivated to keep it up.

As a big thank you to all the visitors of my blog here are some BizTalk memes I’ve been thinking of in my head over the last year.  Apologies to all who get an instant headache from these, and if you don’t know these memes, chances are you don’t want to know 🙂

Stop a BizTalk Application

Hello world.  This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, and I’ve decided to bite the bullet today.

My name is Johann Cooper, I’ve been in the IT applications space since 2006, and for the last two years have been focusing on integration projects using BizTalk Server.  I have spent a lot of time getting familar with the platform, and I’ve grown to respect what can be achieved with the toolset when you have a good understanding of it’s capabilities.  As with any other toolkit, you don’t necessarily need to know the solution to every problem, you just need to be well aware of which tools are best suited to solving which type of problems, and must be prepared for there to be an element of discovery with each new project.

I recognize that the most helpful learning resource in this journey has been the blogging community, so it’s time I did my bit and contribute my learnings to the wider community.

Welcome to my blog.
